Debtwire reporter Hustad is leaving

Karis Hustad

Karis Hustad, a reporter covering direct lending, private equity and M&A in Europe for Debtwire, is departing to start a new job in London next month.

Hustad also contributed to Mergermarket.

She has worked as a reporter, multimedia producer at Chicago Inno and was a Women in Tech Fellow at The GroundTruth Project. She has also worked on the innovation/business desk as a contributor at The Christian Science Monitor.

Hustad has worked at The Modern Story and interned at Chicago Public Media and WCCO-TV. She was a travel writer at the Star Tribune.

Hustad is a B.A. in journalism and sociology from Loyola University Chicago. She is a M.A. in journalism and media and globalization from Aarhus University and a M.A. in media and globalization and financial journalism from City University of London.
