Dean departing Politico for WSJ

Elise Dean

Elise Dean, an associate video producer at Politico, will be joining The Wall Street Journal’s video team this month.

She was also host and producer of She+ Podcast, a female-empowerment podcast that tells the extraordinary stories of everyday women, feminists, female-identifying and non-binary people. She has also interned at Sirius XM.

She has also worked part-time at District Wire News, a bilingual, bi-cultural news website that includes a weekly newscast produced in Washington, D.C. at American University.

Dean has a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from Wake Forest University, where she has also worked as an intern, and holds a M.A. in journalism and public affairs from American University.
