DC Inno has hired Samantha Sabin to cover startups and venture capital.
She starts Oct. 3. DC Inno is part of American City Business Journals and also has sites in Austin, Boston and Chicago.
“I’m eager to get back into tech reporting and join the DC Inno team next month,” said Sabin in an email to Talking Biz News. “The DC startup scene is growing fast, and I’m ready to follow it as it changes and expands.”
Sabin is a May 2016 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where she studied business journalism and political science. She interned for CNBC.com in San Francisco and for the business desk at The (Raleigh) News & Observer.
She also worked at the student newspaper The Daily Tar Heel, where she was director of investigations her senior year.
