The Dallas Morning News has tapped Amy Hollyfield as managing editor. She begins next month.
In her new role, Hollyfield succeeds Keith Campbell and will report to executive editor Katrice Hardy.
Hollyfield joins from The Tampa Bay Times, where she has worked for over 20 years, holding various roles, including government and politics editor, assistant managing editor, deputy managing editor and, most recently, as senior deputy editor for news.
She was also a Sunday sports editor at the Miami Herald Media Company and a sports copy editor/designer at Florida Today Newspaper.
Hollyfield graduated from Northwestern University.
