Ryan Salchert, who covers real estate for the Dallas Business Journal, is leaving the paper to become communications and media manager role with real estate firm CBRE.
He is starting in Dallas, but will eventually relocate to Atlanta for the position.
“Being a journalist covering commercial real estate in San Antonio and North Texas over the last four years has been an incredible opportunity,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m grateful for everyone I’ve worked with and met along the way.”
Salchert joined the Business Journal in September 2019 after covering commercial real estate at the San Antonio Business Journal. He has been with ACBJ since June 2017. He also interned at Forbes in early 2017.
Salchert graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a minor in business journalism to go along with his communications degree in December 2016.
