Jason Roberson, who had been managing editor of the Dallas Business Journal for the past three years, has left the publication and joined a Fort Worth-based marketing firm as its general manager.
Nifty Method Marketing & Events is a boutique marketing and experiential events agency.
Roberson has 20 years of experience as a business journalist and as a public relations executive for companies across several industries. As managing editor, Roberson helped guide content across the Dallas Business Journal’s online and print platforms. Prior to that role, he helped lead internal and external communications for clients of the FleishmanHillard public relations firm.
“I’m extremely excited to be at the helm of growth for Nifty Method,” Roberson said in a statement.
Roberson previously worked at the Dayton Daily News, Detroit Free Press and Dallas Morning News.
