The Dallas Business Journal has hired Catherine Leffert to cover finance and money.
She will start on Oct. 19. Leffert replaces Rebecca Ayers, who has left the paper and moved to New York to freelance.
Leffert most recently was interning for Bloomberg News in New York on the industrial and aerospace team. A Syracuse University graduate, she interned for the Dallas Business Journal in 2019 and also interned for the Central New York Business Journal in 2018.
While at Syracuse, she was a staff writer and then managing editor of The Daily Orange.
Leffert is an eighth generation Texan.
