Barker was deputy editor at Moneywise and has worked as a personal finance reporter at Telegraph Media Group. He has also served as deputy editor at Mortgage Strategy and Global Reinsurance.
Barker has held the posts of Insurance Times reporter, then Insurance Times senior reporter and then Insurance Times assistant news editor at Newsquest Specialist Media Ltd.
Barker is a graduate of the University of Kent.
