D CEO magazine names Cote its new publisher

Ernie Cote has been hired as the new publisher of D CEO magazine in Dallas.

A story on its website states, “He’ll oversee advertising and marketing operations for the magazine and its news site, as well as online verticals D CEO Healthcare and D CEO Real Estate, plus the Dallas 500, D Real Estate Annual, and other ancillary publications.

“Cote comes to D Magazine Partners after serving as CEO of Dallas-based ChemicalInfo, a trade publishing company and provider of online databases for chemical and pharmaceutical companies. He oversaw the sale of ChemicalInfo to IQVIA Holdings Inc. in August 2018.

“Prior to this, Cote was president of Dallas-based digital agency Vertical Nerve, which helped companies grow their online revenue through search marketing and digital analytics conversion. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Copper Mobile, CalcuQuote, and SmartLight Analytics.”
