CUSJ and FT parent company offering $100,000 fellowship to students

The Columbia University School of Journalism and Financial Times parent company, Nikkei, Inc. are rewarding a $100,000 fellowship to students who are residents of Asia. This scholarship is specifically for Asian students who enroll in the Master of Science in Data Journalism or in the Master of Arts in the business and economics department.

Students enrolled in the Master of Science in Data Journalism degree will have the opportunity to receive hands-on training needed to report data-driven stories in the public interest during the three-semester program.

Whereas, students enrolled in the Master of Art degree will focus on the fundamentals of economic theory, accounting, and markets.

The application deadline for the Data degree is Dec. 15 and for the Master of Arts degree it is Jan. 6, 2020.
