Cramer expands web presence with section on CNBC site

Jim Cramer, who helped found TheStreet.com a decade ago and still writes regularly for its web site, now has his own spot on CNBC’s web site as well.

The business news cable channel announced Monday that Cramer, the host of its “Mad Money” show, would have his own section on its web site, which was relaunched back in December.

There you can get caught up on all of Cramer’s advice, as well as his latest picks and pans.

In addition, a “Mad Cap Recap” provides summaries of each night’s “Mad Money” in real time, the first program with a synchronized weblog, so viewers don’t miss a beat. Viewers can also purchase “Mad Money” merchandise on the site, and they can even listen to Cramer reciting passages from the first chapter of his recent book.

Other features? Try a Lightning Round podcast and a DVD of Cramer’s basics to investing. You can also e-mail Cramer.

I wonder what the folks at TheStreet.com think about all of this.
