Crain's New York relaunches web site with video

Crain’s New York Business relaunched its Web site and now has a social networking function and videos of some of its business journalists talking about the news of the day.

A short story stated, “The new site, www.crainsnewyork.com, strengthens the daily report on top local business stories and offers a much more readable 4 p.m. e-mail news alert with the most important stories.

“The home page will also include expanded video interviews with newsmakers and Crain’s staffers interpreting the news; new links to additional information; and expanded resources with statistics, charts, lists and facts on New York, and better research tools. An easy-to-use restaurant list will also be available.

“My Crain’s will provide a new community forum for New Yorkers to share their thoughts and make connections to others with similar interests or in similar sectors.”
