Crain’s New York Business has hired Jennifer Henderson to cover the health care beat.
Henderson previously worked at the Triangle Business Journal, where she covered health care/life sciences, law and higher education.
She previously was a reporter for American Lawyer.
Henderson receive her master’s degree in journalism from New York University. She also holds an MBA from The Citadel and a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and tourism management from N.C. State University.
While attending The Citadel, Henderson worked as a graduate assistant at The Writing Center, where she presented workshops on business communication and tutored graduate and undergraduate students in writing and business. After completing her MBA, Henderson worked for two years at Woodforest National Bank as a personal banker, then as an assistant branch manager for the opening of a new branch.
