Crain’s New York Business Excels In National Competition

Crain’s New York Business, the NYC-based arm of American publishing company Crain Communications, nabbed three awards at the Alliance of Area Business Publishers’ annual Editorial Excellence Awards. The 116 awards are given to various winners all across the United States.

Crain’s senior reporter Aaron Elstein won gold for the best body of work by a single writer. Daniel Geiger, another senior reporter for Crain’s New York Business, received silver thanks to his feature about Ruddy Thompson, an ambitious developer who lost much of his fortune during the recession. The publication also received another silver award for “Best Front Page”, as well.
