Mary Kramer, the publisher of Crain’s Detroit, writes in the latest issue about two editors leaving the weekly business newspaper.
Kramer wrote, “Shawn is not only a great copy editor, but he can design eye-catching pages and write award-winning headlines.
“Mike, who has served as general manager for our Web site, is moving to New York City to run a business news desk for the Associated Press.
“Over the years, both Mike and Shawn have helped us find the factual holes in stories before they hit the Web or print. Sometimes the holes were small; sometimes you could drive a truck through them.”
