Crain’s Detroit Business has hired Carlos Portocarrero as its digital editor.
A story on its website states that he will “manage website projects and work with reporters to elevate the digital presentation of stories.
“Portocarrero, 35, recently worked at Nuveen in Chicago as a digital project manager. Previously, he worked for Discovery Worldwide and Jacobson/Rost, both in Chicago, as a digital project manager.
“He has degrees in communications and philosophy from Boston College and a master’s in writing from DePaul University.”
