A story on the newspaper’s website states, “Campanelli, 46, faces a charge of public indecency following a complaint filed with Aurora police on Nov. 16. A pre-trial hearing is set for Dec. 30 before Portage County Municipal Court Judge Mark Fankhauser. He faces an additional charge of public indecency following his arrest on Nov. 18 in Hudson. His hearing in that case is scheduled for Jan. 5 before Stow Municipal Court Judge Lisa Coates.
“In an interview with a reporter for the Ravenna Record Courier, Campanelli took responsibility for his acts and revealed he was being treated by two doctors for ‘issues that happened to me as a boy that manifested themselves in this kind of way. … I am going to get better and I’m getting help.’
“‘We don’t plan to comment further about this publicly,’ said Mary Kramer, vice president and group publisher of Crain Communications Inc., who supervises Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Detroit Business.”
