Crain’s Cleveland creates small business coverage

Crain’s Cleveland Business and the Council of Smaller Enterprises have partnered to create Small Business Matters, a package of news and features for and about Northeast Ohio’s small business owners that will appear each week on Page 2 of Crain’s print edition.

A story on its website states, “The new feature debuts today, Monday, Jan. 5.

“All COSE members will receive a print copy of Crain’s.

“In addition to news and advice aimed specifically at small business owners, the Small Business Matters page will serve as a weekly guide for information, events and resources for COSE members.

“COSE chairman Rion Safier, the owner of Rion Safier Accounting LLC, and COSE executive director Steve Millard wrote in a message to COSE members that they ‘have spent a lot of time in the past six months working to find out more about our members’ information needs and interests. We concluded that a weekly installment of easy-to-digest small business information, combined with the additional business news content of Crain’s, was a good way to deliver more to you.'”
