Crain’s Chicago hires Goldberg as health care reporter

Stephanie Goldberg

Stephanie Goldberg has joined Crain’s Chicago Business as its new health care reporter, and her coverage will range from hospitals and physicians practices to health insurers and government regulators.

A story on its website states, “Goldberg, 30, most recently was a marketing communications specialist for a division of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, based in Detroit. Before that, she was an associate editor for Business Insurance magazine in Chicago from 2014 to 2016, when production was suspended and the title was sold by Crain Communications, which owns Crain’s Chicago Business.

“She also had a one-year stint inside Walgreens’ marketing operations in Deerfield and worked as a writer and producer at CNN in Atlanta from 2010 to 2013. A native of suburban Detroit, she is a journalism graduate of Michigan State University.

“‘Stephanie’s cross-industry experience in media and corporate marketing is a huge asset,’ says Crain’s Editor Michael Arndt. ‘She will make an impact here in the Chicago health care sector.'”
