Crain’s Chicago has hired reporter Katherine Davis to cover technology and startups.
She will start later this month.
Davis has been covering the same beat for Chicago Inn and the Chicago Business Journal for the past four years.
“Chicago’s tech and startup industry is fascinating and a beat I’ve really come to love, and I can’t wait to continue to tell your stories,” she wrote on Twitter.
Davis has been covering tech and startups in the city and its surrounding suburbs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Columbia College Chicago, and her work has appeared in Modern Healthcare, Crain’s Chicago Business, and The Detroit News.
Inno, which covers startups and entrepreneurs, and the business journals are owned by American City Business Journals.
