Hustad has also worked on the innovation/business desk as a contributor at The Christian Science Monitor.
She was also with The Modern Story and has interned at Chicago Public Media and WCCO-TV. She was a travel writer at the Star Tribune.
Hustad is a B.A. in journalism and sociology from Loyola University Chicago. She is a M.A. in journalism and media and globalization from Aarhus University and a M.A. in media and globalization and financial journalism from City University of London.
