Jack Witthaus

Dan Beyers, executive editor of real estate news service CoStar, sent out the following to the staff:

We delighted to announce the arrival of Jack Witthaus to be our new staff writer in Los Angeles.

Jack has done stints at the Houston Business Journal and, most recently, at the Orlando Business Journal, where he covered commercial real estate and kept close tabs on the Walt Disney Co. He was part of a team that took first place honors for in-depth reporting this year from the Florida Press Association, for coverage of Black-owned businesses. He’s a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Jack is starting his orientation in Richmond and will be in the DC office later this week, before heading to LA.

Please say hello.
