Real estate news company CoStar has hired Houston Business Journal managing editor Emily Wilkinson.
Wilkinson is joining CoStar as a regional editor on Feb. 25 and will be based in Houston.
“I will be overseeing the Texas and midwest markets,” said Wilkinson. “I am excited to join such an established company and help them grow and evolve their news platform. We will continue to hire top-notch real estate reporters all across the U.S.”
Wilkinson has been at the Business Journal since June 2011 and was the managing editor since December 2015 before leaving earlier this month.
She was also an assistant editor at Oil Daily and a reporter at Construction Data. Wilkinson is a University of Texas graduate.
