CoStar Group has hired Candace Carlisle to cover commercial real estate news in the Dallas market.
She starts Monday.
Carlisle has been the real estate reporter at the Dallas Business Journal, where she has been since October 2010. She also dabbled in sports business coverage, especially as it relates to practice facilities, stadium upgrades and other real estate happenings.
“She did an excellent job for us; Candace is easily one of the best reporters I’ve ever worked with at any of my stops,” said Business Journal editor Jeffrey Schnick. “I’m hoping she wins her fourth straight NAREE award this year for her work in 2017.”
Carlisle has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master’s in journalism from the University of North Texas. Before joining the Business Journal, she worked at the Denton Record-Chronicle.
CoStar has hired more than a dozen reporters and editors across the county in the past four months to cover real estate news.
