Spartanburg Herald-Journal Genna Contino has been hired by the Greenville News to cover housing and gentrification.
She will start March 15.
“I’m so excited to return to this talented newsroom covering such an important beat,” she wrote on Twitter.
Contino is a growth and development reporter at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was previously a reporting intern at The Greenville News.
