Connecticut paper cuts standalone biz section

The Day in New London, Connecticut has dropped its standalone business news section, according to a brief on its website.

The item states, “Starting today, the daily editions of The Day will not contain a separate business section. Instead, local business news, as well as national business news, will run in the A section and Region. The comic strip Dilbert, which has run in the business section, has been moved to the comics page.

“The three-page Sunday business section, which includes a full page of stocks, will remain unchanged.”
