The New York Post’s Keith Kelly is reporting Friday that Conde Nast Portfolio, the new business magazine slated to begin publication next year, has made three new hires.
They are New York Observer media reporter Gabriel Sherman, Details feature writer Kevin Gray and Wired writer Susan Murcko, who will become a senior editor.
Kelly reported that Sherman “is going to join [editor Joanne] Lipman as a staff writer. ‘It was a very hard decision, I really love the Observer,’ said Sherman.
He said the chance to be part of a start-up ‘and work with the team they’re putting together is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.'”
