Katherine Bailey, who had been senior vice president of The Wall Street Journal’s digital operations, has been hired by Conde Nast to be senior vice president, global head of product and design.
She will start her new job on May 24.
Bailey had been with Dow Jones and The Journal for more than a decade, holding roles such as vice president of product for MarketWatch.com, SmartMoney.com and Barrons.com. She was also head of news product initiatives and general manager at The Journal. She also oversaw The Journal’s Apple News initiative.
In her new role, Bailey will be responsible for redefining Conde Nast’s brand product strategies to transform the cross-platform experience across its global portfolio, which reaches a combined audience of 1 billion.
