Joens is currently a business reporter at the Jefferson City News Tribune, covering politics, agriculture, energy, tech, startups, retail, construction, housing, and other general assignment stories including sports, education and health care.
He previously was a tech editor and reporter at the Pacific Coast Business Times in Santa Barbara, California.
