The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism will launch a site devoted to business journalism later this week called “Covering Business.”
The site’s broad goals are to showcase Columbia student work, provide advice on covering business beats and stories to students, new journalists and veteran journalists new to business and point students and journalists to helpful online resources.
The soft launch date is Thursday, Dec. 15. We’ll be adding more content during the next few months.
The site’s funding is part of a broader grant from the Knight Foundation.
Mark Glassman, a business journalist who has worked for SmartMoney and Bloomberg, is overseeing content for the site as editor.
