CoinDesk reporter Powers departs

Benjamin Powers

Benjamin Powers, a privacy reporter covering issues around data and financial privacy, information security and digital identity driving innovation inside and outside the blockchain industry for CoinDesk, has left.

He has also freelanced for PublicSecurity.Today and other outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, New Republic, Pacific Standard, CityLab, Smithsonian, Playboy, and Paste Magazine, among others.

Additionally, he has interned at Inverse and BREAKERMAG.

Powers graduated from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
