CoinDesk names Wang U.S. news editor

Nelson Wang

CoinDesk has appointed Nelson Wang as its U.S. news editor, East Coast.

Previously, he worked as a consumer stocks editor and then as a tech stocks editor at TheStreet.com. Previously, he was a business and personal finance editor at Yahoo Finance, and a senior editor at CBS MoneyWatch.

He was also a senior editor, Portfolio.com at Conde Nast. He has also freelanced for Fortune, Fortune Small Business, Reader’s Digest, The San Francisco Chronicle, Newsday, Corporate Board Member, New York Stock Exchange magazine, and several Time Inc. custom publications.

Wang is a graduate of Harvard University.
