Cobley departs Financial News for PR firm

Mark Cobley

Mark Cobley, head of production and deputy online editor at Financial News, has left the organization to join PRI Association as a communications specialist.

Cobley had been with Financial News for more than 15 years. He held numerous positions at the company, including that of reporter, pensions editor, asset management editor. He then became writer and editor on the news desk and then served as an investment editor and then as deputy online editor at the company.

He has also worked as a reporter at Bloomberg News.

Cobley earned his bachelor’s degree in politics from Cardiff University and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from City University.
