CNNMoney.com announced Monday the launch of its first iPhone application.
The free, customizable application includes the latest business news, edited and selected by CNNMoney.com’s editors for the most relevant up-to-the-minute business headlines, key financial data and stock quotes and current business news and features captured in video for users to stream easily.
Users can customize with the following elements and choose the order in which they appear:
- In addition to Latest News, 10 different editorial content sections including Technology, Personal Finance and Small Business;
- Individual stock quote tracking customized by the user and featured in a live scroll throughout the application;
- Current news and features in video form including CNNMoney.com’s appointment programming shows such as Tech-Mate, Strategy Sessions and New Money.
“Our iPhone app features the news content that is most important to our users, with continual oversight by CNNMoney.com editors,†added Chris Peacock, editor and vice president of CNNMoney.com, in a statement. “You won’t see another financial app out there with a curated and edited news feed.â€
