CNNMoney sees 38 percent increase in visitors since split

CNNMoney.com has seen a 38 percent rise in unique visitors since the website split from Time Inc. and became just a Time Warner property.

The website reported 21.5 million multiplatform unique visitors in June, up from the 15.6 million visitors it had in June 2014, the last month it contained content from Fortune and Money magazines, according to the comScore Multi-Platform Report, June 2014-June 2015.

In addition, CNNMoney users spent 311 million minutes on the site in June, up 96 percent from the 159 million minutes in June 2014.

The site has also seen a dramatic increase in mobile and video usage.

Mobile visitors totaled 11.8 million in June, up 99 percent from 5.9 million in June 2014.

Video streams increased by 172 percent to 25.3 million in June, up from 9.3 million in June 2014. In addition, unique video viewers rose 77 percent to 5.1 million in June from 2.9 million in June 2014.
