CNNMoney posts second-best month ever in August

CNNMoney posted its second-best month on record in August, maintaining its position as one of the Top 5 business and financial online news destinations.

CNNMoney ranked fifth among its competitors with 28 million multi-platform unique visitors in August 2016, a second-best all-time record behind only January 2016. The visitors were up 4 percent from July, according to comScore.

CNNMoney posted 16 million mobile unique visitors in August, up 6 percent from the prior month.

The website also reached its second-best month on record for multiplatform minutes. Users spent a total of 565 million minutes consuming CNNMoney content across platforms, up 30 percent over the same month last year.

It also posted 42.7 million video starts.
