We are excited to announce that Gregg Birnbaum will be joining CNNMoney as a senior news editor.
Gregg will lead our breaking news coverage in the early hours each day, beginning at 6am. He’ll be looking for the most important stories, those with the most impact, and opportunities to make some news too.
Gregg is all about breaking news. Most recently he was the head of political content at the New York Daily News. Prior to that, he was the deputy managing editor at Politico. He spent the bulk of his career at the New York Post.
We’re looking forward to his super fast, smart takes on a wide range of stories.
He starts April 6 and will report to Rich. Please extend a warm welcome.
