CNNMoney managing editor Lex Haris sent out the following email Thursday morning:
We’re happy to announce some exciting changes in the CNNMoney newsroom.
Nicole Ridgway is being promoted to Senior Editor. She will continue to run our personal finance coverage, and take on a key new responsibility – overseeing small business.
David Goldman is being promoted to Section Editor – Tech.
Hibah Yousuf is being promoted to Staff Writer on the Markets/Investing team.
Catherine Tymkiw is moving to the Breaking News team. She will help supervise news coverage in the morning, part of a broader re-think of how we structure the Newsdesk.
Aimee Rawlins will run Small Business, editing Jose and Parija, as well as continuing to develop freelancers.
These changes position CNNMoney well to continue the great journalism we’ve already been doing and also grow the business.
And there’s more to come, with 5 open positions that we are currently recruiting for. We’ve included the list here: Note that it reflects two new reporter positions: one for Markets/Investing and one for Tech.

Reporter/Producer – Newsdesk
