CNNBusiness, GrowthSpotter named best biz news sites

CNNBusiness has won the Eppy Award for best business news website with more than 1 million monthly viewers while the Orlando Sentinel’s GrowthSpotter won the Eppy for best business news website with less than 1 million monthly viewers.

The Eppy Awards are presented by Editor & Publisher.

The best business reporting Eppy to a site with more than 1 million monthly viewers was a tie between “Bribery Division” from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, La Posta, and McClatchy/Miami Herald and “Sign Here to Lose Everything” from Bloomberg News.

The best business reporting Eppy to a site with less than 1 million monthly viewers went to “Mauritius Leaks” from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.

The best business blog Eppy to a site with more than 1 million monthly viewers went to QuickTakes from Bloomberg News.

The best business blog Eppy to a site with less than 1 million monthly viewers went to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
