CNN has hired Washington Post tech reporter Brian Fung to cover tech, business and policy.
He will start in May. His work will appear on both CNN Business and CNN Politics, and he will also be appearing on television.
Fung has covered business and technology for The Post since 2013. Before joining The Post, he was the technology correspondent for National Journal and an associate editor at The Atlantic. He speaks two dialects of Chinese and is a native of the nation’s capital.
He is a graduate of Middlebury College and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
After six years at the @washingtonpost, next month I head to @CNN to cover business, tech and policy.
I’m so grateful to all the incredible people at The Post who’ve supported me and helped me grow — as a D.C. native, it’s been a privilege to write for this hometown paper.
