CNN is hiring two new employees and promoting two employees, as well.
Specifically, CNN is hiring Bridget O’Brian as a section editor for the Business, Market, and Economy team. O’Brian previously was the editor-at-large of Columbia University’s office of public affairs and also worked as an adjunct professor at Columbia’s journalism school.
Prior to her time at Columbia, O’Brian worked as a news editor for the Wall Street Journal. She was also a staff reporter for the New Orleans Times-Picayune from November 1981 to August 1988. She graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
Jackie Wattles has been promoted to a writer role at CNN Business. Wattles is known for her space research and reporting for CNN Business, where she joined in May 2015. Wattles graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2015.
Nathaniel Meyersohn has also been promoted to a writer role at CNN Business, as well. Meyersohn worked at Buzzfeed Politics as an intern from August 2016 to December 2016.
He also worked as a research assistant for HBO from July 2015 to August 2015. Meyersohn graduated from Emory University in 2015.
