Annalyn Kurtz has been hired CNN Business as the new senior editor for features.
She started on Monday.
As features editor, she is leading and editing CNN Business’s burgeoning lineup of feature stories and series, working to bring more feature-style treatments to the week’s news, and thinking about how we can bring together every part of our newsroom, including graphics, video and programming, to create the most compelling showcases possible for our reporting on the future of business.
Prior to joining CNN, Kurtz was a freelance business journalist, a contributing editor for Financial Planning and an adjunct at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
She has received the Knight-Bagehot Fellowship from Columbia, the most prestigious fellowship in business journalism; gotten a masters from Columbia; gotten an MBA from Columbia; been a fellow on the New York Times’ Business desk; written for Fortune, Inc., and U.S. News & World Report, among others.
