CNET has hired Monisha Ravisetti on the science reporting team.
She joins from The Academic Times, a start-up publication that grew to have more than 1 million viewers per month, where she was a science reporter.
Previously, she was a science journalism intern at Children and Screens: Institute of Digital Media and Child Development.
She has also worked in a research capacity at Weill Cornell Medicine, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and NYU School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
Ravisetti is a graduate of New York University.
