CNBC.com reporter Berkeley Lovelace is leaving the news organization to cover health and medical news for NBC News.

He has been mainly covering pharmaceuticals and the Food and Drug Administration. He’s also the host of “Healthy Returns,” a weekly health-care newsletter.

His last day at CNBC is Friday. He will start his new job later this month.

He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Missouri.
