CNBC’s Gharagozlou to join MSNBC weekend show

CNBC producer Leila Gharagozlou will leave the network to join “Up on MSNBC,” the network’s weekend morning show hosted by David Gura.

She made the announcement Thursday on Twitter.

Prior to CNBC, Gharagozlou was an associate producer at Bloomberg and, prior to that, held production internships with ABC News and CNN. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from The George Washington University.

Up airs Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET.
