CNBC’s digital ops set records in July

CNBC.com had its best July ever in terms of unique visitors and page views.

According to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix, the site was visited by 5.9 million unique users last month, a 6 percent increase compared to the same time period last year, and recorded 312 million page views.

CNBC mobile also scored records for July. CNBC mobile web recorded 73 million page views, which represents a 30 percent increase year-over-year. CNBC’s iPhone app posted 57 million page views, representing a 50 percent increase year-over-year and also saw unique visitors increase by 9 percent compared to the same time period as last year.

CNBC’s Android app saw a 142 percent increase in unique visitors compared to the same time period last year and a 181 percent increase in page views year-over-year, according to Omniture.

CNBC.com is the No. 1 financial news site in minutes per visit. Last month, users spent an average of 15 minutes per visit.
