CNBC’s digital operations posts record September

CNBC’s digital operation posted its best September ever with 21.4 million unique visitors, up 50 percent compared to last year at this time, according to the September2015 comScore Multi-platform Report US.

CNBC’s mobile audience had 10.2 million unique visitors in September, up 83 percent compared to the same time last year.

CNBC is the No. 8 business and financial news site in terms of visitors. Yahoo Finance is No. 1 with more than 70 million unique visitors.

The multi-platform number includes visitors from tablets and applications and gives a better representation of how consumers are truly consuming content and how advertisers want to reach them since it measures total digital consumption.

CNBC.com’s total unique video viewer volume reached 5.6 million in September, up 46 percent year-over-year, according to the September 2015 comScore Video Metrix, US, Content Videos report.
