CNBC's Burnett and her bra

Michael Gray of the New York Post writes Sunday about CNBC‘s Erin Burnett‘s segment on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” show Thursday morning when she brought out a bra that had been presented to her as a present.

Gray writes, “Burnett told Scarborough and Brzezinski that her co-host Mark Haynes had given her a large bra, which she said doubled as a gas mask for a holiday gift.

“Burnett, to the astonishment of the MSNBC hosts, then went on to demonstrate how the large red bra cup could be fitted over the face.

“Brzezinski’s immediate comment was ‘Oh, no. OK’ as Burnett showed its dual functionality.

“As a way of salvaging her career, Burnett tried to explain that, ‘Haynes knows I travel a lot, and you can have two people. . .’

“At that point Brzezinski screwed her face in an expression of total disbelief about where the segment had gone.”
