CNBC.com scored its 20th straight month of year-over-year growth in unique visitors in July, according to the latest comScore Media Metrix data.
The business news site experienced a 14 percent increase in unique visitors and an 81 percent increase in page views.
CNBC.com is the No. 1 standalone financial news website by total page views, and it’s No. 1 in time spent per visit, with users spending an average of 28.4 minutes per visit, the most in the Business/Finance – News/Research category. That’s a 214 percent increase in time spent per visit for the site when compared to the same time period last year.Â
CNBC.com is also No. 1 in time spent per visitor, with users spending an average of more than 2 hours (120.2 minutes per visit) on the site last month, the most in its category. That’s a 267 percent increase for the site when compared to the same time period as last year and 172 percent more than the average visitor spent on the site’s nearest competitor.
CNBC.com’s “Earnings Central” section was a key driver of growth on the site in July, according to Omniture.
