Business news network CNBC has won two Gracie Awards, one for outstanding host and another for outstanding commercial campaign, according to an announcement Wednesday.
This latest honor marks Orman’s sixth Gracie Award win and continues her record for the most Gracie Awards won by a television personality in the history of the competition.
The CNBC promotional campaign “I am American Business,” profiles visionaries, entrepreneurs and trailblazers whose spirit drives American business. Among the dozens of talented people who have participated in the campaign are: Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz; Founding Chairwoman, Promérica Bank Maria Contreras Sweet; fashion designer Tori Burch and cosmetics chief Bobbi Brown.
The awards will be presented at the 34th Annual Gracie Awards gala to be held on Wednesday, June 3, in the Broadway Ballroom at the New York Marriott Marquis. The Gracie Awards honor exemplary programming created for women, by woman and about women in all facets of electronic media as well as individuals who have made contributions to the industry.
